This error code indicates that a value being added to the database is too long for the field it is intended for. This error was normally only thrown when a a single security guard touched his security ID to the pen reader numerous times, or several security guards touched there IDs to the pen reader in succession.
This problem has been fixed in all versions of Patrol Manager since 2008. Any support contract holders can obtain a free upgrade by contacting
support@littlefishcom.net. None contract holder can purchase a software upgrade by contacting
sales@littlefishcom.net.
For those not wishing to upgrade their software, avoiding the use of long security staff names, and staff education can reduce the prevalence of this error.
